Oskar Remixed is a video-dance project by the Bauhaus Agents involving several schools, linked to the work of Bauhaus master Oskar Schlemmer. In August 2018 choreographer Ruben Reniers collaborated with pupils from various schools on the Bauhaus stage in Dessau-Roßlau. Using previously designed costumes and masks, they co-developed sequences that could be rehearsed in costume and realised within the available possibilities for movement. Once filmed and edited by Marco Baass, the video was given a newly composed soundtrack by Evelyn Saylor.
The film was installed in the Akademie der Künste Berlin for the opening festival of the 100 Jahre Bauhaus Jubiläum, and was also subsequently installed in the new Bauhaus Museum in Dessau for the Festival Bühne Total.
